What is Australia Skilled Regional Visa - Subclass 887
The Skilled – Regional (subclass 887) visa is a next stage permanent visa with no points-based necessities. The Subclass 887 visa grants complete legal permanent residence to the visa holders. To get this visa, an applicant must fulfill certain requirements at the time the application is filed. The Skilled – Regional (subclass 887) visa substituted the second stage Skilled – Designated Area Sponsored (subclass 883) visa and the State/Territory Nominated.
This visa is for people who have lived and worked in definite areas of regional Australia on a former, eligible visa. With this visa you can live in Australia on permanent basis. You can do both work and study in Australia. You can also register in Australia’s public health care scheme, Medicare. If you have this visa you can also sponsor your families to come to Australia.
You are permitted to travel to and from Australia for 5 years.
You can include family members unit in your application if they presently hold an eligible visa. You must include each family member who is eligible to apply for this visa at the time of your visa application. You can’t add family members once you submit your visa application. You can include family members who don’t meet the standard definition of member of the family unit provided they hold an eligible visa that was granted on the basis that they were members of your family unit. This provision would apply, for example, if you want to include a kid in your application who has turned 23 years of age since they were granted an eligible visa. Family members included in your application should have to meet Australian Governments health and character requirements. Family members not accompanying you to Australia may also need to meet Australian Governments health and character requirements.
